Showing the favicon in Google search results

(Diary of an Old AI Researcher who is still Programming)

7 July 2019

I have not noticed, until today, that Google search (mobile version) shows favicons in the search results.
The format seems to have been changed in the end of May.

Following the instructions shown in support.google.com ,
I have added
< link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico" >
in the headers of my html files (automatically by my own program).
